Christmas break into New Years

There is so much hubbub during the month of December that it's not until after Christmas that I can really sit back and enjoy the decorations and the tree lights and the fake fire in the fireplace. It's  nice having kids home and Mike mostly off work. I like this display in my window, this Scandinavian looking cutting board and the Christmas house lego I got for Christmas.

*Audrey had a reception down in Hurricane,  so I took the girls and went with my  mom and dad, Jamie and Nielsen. It was a snowy drive. We stopped at the Beaver Creamery, went to the reception and then stayed the night in Aunt Becca's St George house

*The boys went skiing

*Mike and I took the girls, with friends Clara and Ellie, to Evermore. It was too cold and rainy to really enjoy. I've just been so curious about the place and wanted to give it a try.

*and then finish up the year on New Years Eve at Grandma Balle's.

Clara, Zoey and Emery. Enjoying the last day of break

Christmas 2022

Well gosh, I didn't get a lot of pictures this year. Where are all the photo's from Christmas Eve at my moms?  I'm sure we had a good time. I think we did a readers theater and I remember that being a good time. We do have proof Santa made it again this year.  It's  hard to see in this dark picture, but the kids got 2 small tote goat.  And I was excited for Emery when I came out and saw she finally got an American Girl Ice-cream van. She's been wanting something like this the past couple year.
It was nice this year having Christmas on Sunday. We got up and looked at a few things, got ready for church, went and listened to the beautiful Christmas music in Sacrament meeting and then came home and opened presents from under the tree. I liked spreading it out a little bit.

Merry Christmas

North Pointe Christmas sing

Just my two girls in it this year

Christmas at Aunt Ronda's

Nope, my kids still won't perform any of their talents.

This year was really neat because at Audreys wedding a couple weeks prior, my mom  and Aunt Ronda dug all the dinner plates out of the garbage to take home and  wash..... and use at the family Christmas party.  It's just what we do.

Zac and Audrey Maag

Congratulations to the first Niece on my side of the family to get married.

They did so much planning together and with my mom and Jamie and everything turned out so nice.
