Back to school

 Ivan the 9th grader

We started taking school pictures in front of the garage, with Charlie and Micah, when they started kindergarten. I was determined to take one each year until they graduated, but here we are standing solo this year. Micah moved to New Mexico and I think Kate and I texted back and forth about meeting out for a picture and it just never happened. It's amazing to watch them all grow. Ivans officially in high school.  He's finishing up with 7 on 7 football and his team did great. His 7's coach is the American Fork High football coach and told us that Ivan is a "Baller" and if they don't take him at Lehi, he wants him at AF.  Lehi did want him, he gets to play sophomore football this year. This year is the first for seminary and I'm excited for him to have that experience.  Ivan loves fishing, football, friends and family. 

Jack the 7th grader.

 Welcome to Jr High. I loved Jacks 6th grade year. I'm going to miss him being in elementary.  He's had a great year, his teacher loved him and he had a fun group of friends. On the first day of school all the 6th grade teachers come over to the Jr High and line the front walk and clap for all the 7th graders going in. He's nervous about is A.L.L classes next year and is cursing my name all morning,  but it'll be juuuuust fine.  Iv'e signed him up for fall tennis. He'll be doing fall soccer and he's still doing great on the piano. I Love to hear him play.  He's more particular about his shoes this year. Loves tramp ball and video games.

Emery the 5th grader

I don't know why this is my only picture of Emery? I'm sorry my dear. The A.L.L teacher changed last minute this year. I think the main reason she decided to test for it was to have this particular teacher. I don't think she's too excited about the change, but will do great anyway. She is still doing ballet and is going to try volleyball this season. She loves Handle's ice cream, Mini Brands, soft blankets, sleeping in my bed, working and stressing about things and Bueno bars.

Kate the Kindergartner

She's excited. She is still doing ballet and started tumbling. The older kids go to school in the morning, then we enjoy our mornings together and then I take her to afternoon kindergarten on the little purple moped. She loves to hold my "cold ears," her friend Ellie, playing a game where I adopt her, setting her little toys up all around the house, and snuggling. 

August

During the month of August Zoey, Clara and Emery made treats every Monday night and delivered them, in disguise, to families in the neighborhood. They called themselves the night ninja's or something like that. 

Swimming, car wash, sports (emery's first go at volleyball), deer in the neighbors yard. A few last things before school starts

Sadie

Sadie, my brothers x-wife,  passed away. A very sad and hard time for Nielsen and the kiddo's.
