Nether of them were happy about going, but I think they both had a nice time. Easy in the season Jack was on board with back packing with the deacons. Then the reality of hauling the pack around set in and he changed his mind. He was so mad at us up until we dropped him off at brother Veenker's. He may have been saying, "I hate you" under his breath as we were hugging him goodbye. He's always a bit nervous about the unknown. He did awesome.
And here's Ivan with his fresh buzz cut. He caved to peer pressure and let Max and Gavin shave his hair. It was fun for a second and then I don't think he was too happy bout the results. Then he and Jackson headed out to FSY. I did get a few text's making it sound like he was miserable, but turns out, he too had a nice time.
