Well here we are in September. Only 4 more months and then I'm caught up to the currant date which is January 2020
We'll start out with this cute picture. Brett has been home for a month and they are right back to playing ball in grandma's back yard. A very handsome team
Did we go to the cabin in september? This picture says we did, but I don't remember. Anyway- this was definitely the year of fishing. If Ivan wasn't fishing in the pond by our house then he was fishing at the cabin
Emery quit taking tumbling at Jolly's. I'm sad about it, but she's not. She's now taking at Saratoga Springers, the same place Jack takes. She likes it there. I had to take this picture of our last day. You can't go in and watch so Jolly's is famous for the line of parents peering in through the windows.
Kate started Dance with Mrs Aunt Jamie
Yard work
Sundae Monday fundraiser.
5 yrs ago a kindergarten girl from North Pointe came home on the first day with a list of items students could donate to the classroom. She wanted to gather everything on that list so her teacher wouldn't have to buy anything. She decided to sell ice cream sundaes and donate the money. Her parents told her they would match what she made. Her dad works for microsoft and they also said they would match her donations. The fundraiser has evolved. It's held every year at a neighborhood park near us and they have music, hot dogs, snow cones, sundaes, popcorn and games.
Impressive. I wish I was a go getter like that little girl.
Kate and her little friend Ellie
Kate and McKay.
They are getting ready to move to California for PA school. Kate will definitely miss her McKay
and then they said their goodbye's
Kate my little lunch date
We decided to go to Oregon for cousin Dawson's baptism. Ivan and Mike had to stay home for football
Kristian and Malori live an hour or so outside of Portland so we tried to do a couple things in the city before we headed out. We rode bikes along the waterfront. Sharon and I peddled kate around in this surrey. It was really quite fun and entertaining
We stopped and Jack and Emery rode over the bridge and back
We stayed in the cutest little airbnb. I should have taken pictures of the back yard. It was covered in trees so it felt like we were nestled in the woods.
Spent one day at Baumans Farms
and a day apple picking
and these guys spent lunch on their phones!
we must not have been good enough company?
Handsome little Dawson after his baptism
It was really nice to be there.
and then we have slime.
My favorite question of the day. "can I make slime?"
We end the month with Sharon's birthday celebration
