We had our youth conference.
This year they decided to do a temple walk. I'm not always good at catching the vision of some of these types of activities; walk 18 miles to the temple? Why? But, they always turn out great and I'm always glad we did it. We got up early and they had lots of yummy things to make our own bag of trail mix. We walked along the Jordan Parkway for a couple hours and a group of parents met us at a park and made us a warm breakfast. We had an awesome speaker (my neighbor Mark) and then continued on to the temple. It was a lot of fun walking around with all these awesome kiddo's and getting to know them.
