Back to school night

(technically aug but it's going under the sept post)

Parents line the halls and clap for the kids as they come in

Jack's so funny, he's a silly butt at home, but all these school functions he acts like he can't see me. Never looks or smiles

Emery started a week after the boys. We got up and had Brandi give her a fresh haircut and then off we went on her bike that is way too small for her

We took a trip to St George to see Shrek and Mamma Mia. Riding in the golf cart might have been better than the actual show, for the kids

We stopped at the cabin for a night on the way back so we got to show Sharon the beautiful Cedar Breaks

and on the way home from the cabin we stopped for the Eclipse

We took up roller blading. A neighbor had a garage sale and Charlie bought some roller blades for $3. The kids were having a blast trying them out and before we knew it they all had a new pair. They have gotten so good and it's been so fun to watch them spend hours practicing.

Mike planned to hike timp with some friends in the neighborhood, over labor day, so we didn't go to the cabin with the rest of my family. He got up at 3:30 Saturday morning and they hiked all day. Got home about 3:30 that afternoon.

We still felt like we needed a little vacation so we packed that night and Sunday morning we got up and went to the Nephi KOA for a night. We had a really, really nice time.

My mother in law turned 80
