Not only have we loved school, we've loved sports too.
Oh it's been fun so far having Ivan try out different sports. He can't get enough of it. There were a couple days where he had both a soccer and a t-ball game and it would make him crazy excited. It's a crying shame sports these days are so serious because that means within the next year, if you want to be competitive, you have to start really spending time and money on what sport you want. We are undecided on the route we'll go as of now. Meaning whether or not we'll play community leagues for fun or dive into something.
Anyway, I've loved every minute of the two years we've been doing it. Soccer has been so fun. The fun part it playing with all the neighbor kids. That means weekly socializing with good neighbors.
They'll all play together one more year, but then I think things will change after that. Darn it.
Basketball last winter. These are two of my favorite pictures of him.
We did T-ball this summer
and just started his true love...... football!
Jack played too. He's so little
When I say, "played" I mean he was signed up, participated in a few practices, never a single game and then glady accepted his trophy at the end. He just needs some time to get used to it.
