football players are stinky

Mike had to pick up Ivan and a couple of friends from football practice and also had to detour over to pick Emery up from ballet. This is what she thinks of them. She's right. Ivan can smell soooo bad after practice

My mom adopted little Stella from Danny's roommate. I'm actually not sure who she belonged to? Danny? or my mom? She lived at my mom's, but was part Danny's too.  She got hit by a car at the cabin. A very sad time for everyone. 

2023-2024 School year starts

Ivan is a Sophomore 

Jack is in 8th grade

Emery is in 6th grade

Kate is in 1st grade

All kids in school all day- mamma's gotta get a job. 

Well I can't do that, because with school starting that means soccer, tennis, football, dance and tumbling are also starting. Who will get the kids around? Who will watch their games and performances?  Mamma will!!

Arizona trip

Flying Allegiant is nice because the airport is so small. I told the kids in the airport that we did't need snacks because they charge too much.  Then during the flight I fell asleep until the attendants came around with snacks. I woke up not thinking clearly. The kids all looked so shocked when I took a snack from the lady and encouraged them to do the same. I forgot the were "snacks for purchase."  Should have just let them get something at the airport, it was probably cheaper than in the actual flight! Grrrr

After the flight we went straight to the bounce house where Malori's sister was having  a birthday party for her little boy. 

The kids had the time of their life! Mike and I did too of course. We conquered mini escape rooms at Bam Kazam, swam at the house, floated the river, adult only dinner date, Kristian cut the growth off Mikes head for him, and swam some more at the house.

Ivan didn't get to go with us. High School football season started,  where he was brewing up this yummy case of Impetigo..... that Jack then acquired a week or so late and then Emery was lucky to get it a week or two after Jack
