koda and friends

Besides his siblings...... Koda has made some great friends. He first started with winston.. ran all the way to his house one da and waited on the door step to play.

Then he changed and would run over to play with chewy. They would play for a bit and then Koda would run home. Some days he would stop and play with Mikey a little bit. Chewy moved and his new best friend is Stryker Christensen. They are so funny. When Koda gets out, we know he runs over to Strykers. He plays for a min, but usually just tries to steel his bone and bring it back to our house to bury it. When we want Stryker to come over I just text Jenny and then stand by the front door. She opens her gate and he comes running right over, up the steps and into the house.

Spring Break 2022

Spring break is now coming to a close. It's been a nice break from school and a set schedule. Last weekend Ivan and I stayed the night in Ogden for a 7v7 football tournament. We had a nice time together. We stopped in Farmington to see Matt and Mykel's new home and then played one game sat night. We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We didn't get there until about 8:00pm and then it took about 45 min for our food so we ate a nice heavy dinner later than one should. Our hotel was the king of crappy so we quickly slept there and then played a couple more games the next day. They had food trucks at the tournament, I got a taco salad and Ivan got a grilled chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich. We tried some donuts and then got a yummy slushy for the ride home. Overall a nice little get away for two.

Jack had a tennis match I missed.

Monday was pretty low key. Ivan, Jack, Logan, Sadie, Chloe and her boyfriend went and played tennis at the Jr hight for a bit while Katie and I walked dogs around the track. I can't remember much from Tuesday. My cousin Edie is in town from Florida and so Wednesday I went to Kiersten's to have lunch with the two of them. Wednesday night Mike and I went to the Jazz game with Deloit. Thursday the kids played the day away and then we went to the movie (Sonic) with Sharon, Mark and Lisa and the crew.

We left Kate with Sharon to sleepover and then Friday Jack, Emery and I got our bikes all spruced up with a new front basket and soft seat covers and rode up to Sharons on the Jordan Parkway. We had a really great time. We stopped on 106th South to have a little snack and play at the park. A boy from Jacks school was there so they got to play for a bit. Then we rode to Gardner Village, walked around, had ice cream and went the rest of the way to Sharons. Lots of fun. When we got home (about 4:00pm) Ivan left to run routes and hang out with friends and Jack and Emery played night games with Worle's until about 11:30pm. Mike and I enjoyed a nice dinner together at Little India.

Today is Saturday and we've done a lot of running around. Mike took Ivan to Magna this morning at 8:00am. He played 2 games and then met the cousin group at Alcatraz. We gave Bryce, Cole, Jensen and Jared tickets the the escape room for Christmas. The boys did the room and then I took them all with me back out to Magna. Ivan played another game. We left and went back to my moms. He stayed and played 2 more game and Mike brought him home. We got us some Mo Betta's for lunch and ate at my moms and then we all went home.
