September

As I look back through September pictures they all seem to be of Kate and our trampoline.

 She loves her binki and she loves our ears. 

Just as we started the process of ridding the binki she fell and broke her arm. An experience she may need that binki for. 

There's not much to say about it another than she broke it jumping on the tramp, she hardly cried and was so extra sweet at the hospital.

Then we had a wind storm that blew the tamp up into Darrin's tree

Well I guess all of September wasn't about Kate. Emery made it into the picture collection. Grandma Balle had a birthday, we got to visit Whitneys second litter of kittens and Koda got his cast off.

Labor Day weekend in Idaho

September started with a trip to Idaho with Steve and Jen's family.

Mike took Jack, Emery and Kate and left a couple days before me and Ivan. 

The 5 hour drive took them almost 9 hours with the construction and Labor Day traffic. I was home, in a clean, quiet house, Ivan out with his friends, when Mike called to tell me they were sitting in traffic. 

Man was I every sorry, but man was I ever glad I was home! Saturday morning Ivan played in his football game and then we left for Idaho. We got 2 or 3 hours out and stopped to eat and get gas. When we pulled into the little hamburger joint I suddenly realized I had forgotten my purse!  Luckily, the woman who ran the hamburger place let me call my niece, get my credit card number and read it to her. 

It was good to get there and see everyone

Ivan really wanted to hunt with Cody and so at the end of the trip Mike and Jack went home and I stayed with Ivan, Emery, Kate, Sharon and Cody. We got a hotel room in Sun Valley and stayed an extra day.

      

and Jack was able to enjoy some alone time at home
